Eco Sailing Cruises has recently been awarded with a Commercial Recreation and Tour Operator Licence or ‘Parks Eco Pass’ from the NSW

National Parks and Wildlife Service. This unique permit allows for Yoga, Meditation, Bird Watching, Exploring Historic Heritage, Guided walking/Bush Walking, Wildlife Observation and Motorised Boat Tours in three of the most popular National Parks in Sydney.
Dozens of locations are available in Sydney Harbour National Park (including Shark, Clarke and Goat Islands), Garigal National Park in Middle Harbour and Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park at Pittwater and Broken Bay.

Eco Sailing Cruises is the first company in NSW to have a permit to undertake this range of activities and is thus offering a very unique and special experience for its clients.

The Boat

Kick n Back is a very comfortable Seawind 1000 sailing catamaran in commercial survey. It is an Australian Built classic with all safety and living equipment on board. An extremely well designed vessel built for entertainment, with an outdoor feeling and exceptional cabin space with shelter from the Sun. Enjoy magnificent 360 degree views of your stunning surroundings during the day and at night watch the stars lying on the outdoor bow trampolines.

The Seawind 1000 has twin 9.9hp outboard engines and dual steering wheels making for easy sailing and maneuvering.

The functional galley is loaded with fridge and freezer space, a small oven and gas stove making meal preparation hassle free. The rear deck has a generous BBQ. There’s plenty of outdoor seating under the bimini cover bringing the outdoors in.

Simply put, you’ll be ‘Kick’n Back’ for an afternoon of storytelling as the sun goes down over the horizon.

The Seawind 1000 was designed to be both an ideal party boat, and a safe, comfortable and seaworthy East Coast cruiser. It comfortably accommodates 12-20 people cruising for the day around the bays and harbours.

Featuring 2 double cabins and 2 singles berths and a full-size bathroom. ‘Kick’n Back’ can comfortably sleep 6-8 people for an overnight trip or week long adventure on Pittwater or in the Whitsunday Islands.

The boat only operates in relatively sheltered waters and is very comfortable and stable. Unlike a yacht, this catamaran barely heels over and doesn’t rock uncomfortably from side to side, so seasickness is highly unlikely.

Life lines have recently been raised in height, so its much safer than ever before. In addition there are 4 fire extinguishers, an EPIRB, VHF Radio, Chartplotter, lifejackets for every person, two large life rafts, and an inflatable tender with Broken Bay/Pittater or in an outboard motor.

We will always operate within mobile phone range. If on the odd occasion, that we are out of range, say in the Whitsundays, there is a satellite phone on board. Please refer to information about Your Captain if you would like to know more.
